Create a Lab file (or edit your prior assignment file) that includes all of the components from the first file (title page, executive summary etc.)

1. Your headings should be something such as:

Topic for End of Semester Project

2. This week we will be looking at HTML and Web programming. Start with the first resource: Safari book - HTML5 24 Hour Trainer. This is a great way to get started with HTML. You will be reading:

a. Part 1: Getting Started with HTML

i. What is HTML?
ii. Creating Your First Web Page
iii. Viewing Web Pages

b. Part 2: Styling Your Web Page - What is CSS?

3. Using notepad (or similar editor - not a word processor) create a basic Web page that includes the following (15 points) - topic is your choice:

a. Doctype and basic foundation tags (html, head, title, body)
b. Use of two heading tags and a paragraph tag
c. Hyperlink
d. Image
e. Additional tag of your choice

4. Create a style sheet to change an attribute of one of your tags (heading is probably the easiest.) Link the stylesheet to your Web page

5. Include a screen shot of your Web page with and without the style sheet along with a discussion of your experience AND a copy of your code.
