Write a booking and pricing system for seats for performances in a theatre.

Design and write a system to handle information (equipment, people, events etc.) for a club.

Given an "address book" (a collection with names, addresses and telephone numbers etc.) the program allows you to print the address book in an order, add, delete and change information and store it back in the collection. What data structures might be useful?

Consider the operation of a line of supermarket checkouts and the profiles of customers and their shopping baskets. Use a random number generator to create the data for these profiles if you wish. Maintain a prediction of the order in which customers will complete checking out and leave the supermarket.
