1) member will be assigned by instructor.

2) Use PowerPoint, or Google Docs.

3) Presentation must include:

a) Title Slide listing programming language and names of group members

b) Current application areas, industries, job prospects, salary information tied to educational requirements, geographic regions where jobs cluster, other points related to current use of this language. C/C++ and Java group must give more detail here.

c) Provide a brief history of the language (1-2 slides) including standards if any. What need does this language fill that others do not?

d) Discuss the language in terms of the paradigms described in Chapters 1-5 of our textbook. Provide code samples for at least 3 of your discussion points.

e) Include other information to help your classmates understand this language and its applications better (i.e. libraries, compilers, interpreters, user groups, workplace experiences, on-going development initiatives, etc.)

f) References page: sources must be provided in ACM document style

4) Presentation is worth 150 points - 100 points assigned by instructor, 50 points based on peer evaluations compiled from scoring sheets. In addition to providing the information specified the presentation will be graded for flow, clarity, readability, etc. Note: scoring sheet not turned in or suspected inattention to scoring will result in 50 point deduction.
