Pair Programming Phase 1

Talent Agency User Stories

1. User Story 1

As a head office administrator I want to be able to produce formatted output of all the information about our talent agencies so that I can easily incorporate it in documents and reports

2. User Story 2

As a head office administrator I want to be able to sort the formatted output according to the type of agency so that I can produce a classified directory listing that can be easily incorporated into documents and reports

3. User Story 3

As a head office administrator I want to be able to view the formatted output in a graphical interface so that I can easily find information for a particular agency or type of agency and be able copy and paste the information for use in other windows applications

4. User Story 4

As a head office administrator I want to be able to summarise information about the number of staff working in our different types of agencies so that I can provide an overview of staffing levels for our monthly reports.

Individual Programming Phase 2 (Stages 2 and 3)

User Story 5 (Stage 2)

As a head office administrator I want to be able calculate the average daily rates of clients for each agency and display it on the graphical interface so that I can view this when required and be able to give an overview of client rates in each agency for our monthly reports.

User Story 6 (Stage 3)

As a talent agency manager I want to be able to use the application to find clients in my agency* that will match a potential customer's criteria and then view and compare the clients' details so that I can quickly provide a list of suitable clients to the customer

*Distinguish between bands and models. Elaborate to specify what criteria you will use.

Final User Stories

The last two user stories should be written by you.

In previous user stories you have elaborated on them in the absence of a client. Now you should produce 2 user stories of your own as if you were the client or as if you were producing a showcase to the client of what the application could do.

Suggested areas for the user stories are:

Add new options that are similar to, but not covered by the first stories, but you think would improve the application.

Editing: Editing current information or creating new information for your application

Searching: Finding information - extending the ability of your application to find information

Visualisation: Visualising information that is in your application e.g. using a chart or a map

Usability: Improving the interface options that are available to a user to perform tasks and interact with the data in the application

Look at the previous user stories as a guideline for writing them. Make sure you have at least one user story ready to implement in the week beginning 04/04/2016
