Within each shopping mall, there are many shops of different sizes and each shop has the unique number assigned. To encourage rental of its shops, company gives a negotiated discount to retailers who have shops in more than one mall. For each retailer renting shop, company needs to keep track of company name as well as name and phone number of contact person. Each shop generates the income stream that could vary from month to month because rental is based on a flat rental charge and a negotiated percentage of sales revenue. Rental period for each shop is maintained by a company. Each shop also has monthly expenses for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and, for each maintenance event, the date, detail of maintenance, and total expenses are stored. Company requires to keep track of monthly income and expenses for each shop and to do ad hoc querying related to rental and maintenance of each shop.
