Introduction to the Activity

The database you've been working on during this class could probably benefit from some stored programming. Now that you have had some practice in writing SQL stored procedures, functions, and transactions, it's time to write some SQL code for your own database!

Instructions to Learners

For this assignment, you will use the database that you previously populated with data and wrote queries for.

Write descriptions for two scalar functions and two stored procedures (four total code elements) that will accomplish some useful functionality in your database. See this module's discussion instructions for examples.

In a Word document, prepare the following for each programming requirement:

• The description for your requirement
• The complete and bug-free procedure or function (stored procedures should contain a transaction at an appropriate isolation level)
• A screenshot of executing the procedure or function in your database and the result.
