For this assignment, write a 350- to 700-word informal paper using Microsoft Word explaining how to normalize a database to 3NF. Include in your explanation how you would assure the foreign keys are specified and the functional dependencies and inference axioms are used to derive the 3NF functional dependencies.

Prepare a 10- to 12-slide Microsoft PowerPoint presentation with detailed speaker note that includes:

• A logical explanation of why organizations should maintain normalized data structures
• An accurate description of the major reasons why organizations may fail to maintain data structures in 3NF
• A complete explanation of the consequences that non-normalized data may bring to an organization
