DESCRIPTION:

Consider a web based automobile producing company which produces vehicles, such as Cars, Trucks and Bikes. You first need to provide a conceptual discussion of it's business operations, identify the requirements and then design ERD diagram based on the requirements analysis considering the below hypothetical case:

‘When a new vehicle is to be built, the responsible division places an order with the purchasing officer for the specific set of parts. The purchasing officer will check the available stock of the parts and if necessary arrange for additional supplies from the suppliers registered with NGA. NGA's purchasing department is interested in creating a database to keep a track of data relating to divisions, parts, orders, and suppliers with an aim to manage the process of procuring and delivering materials efficiently. They have sought your help in setting up the database system to record and use relevant data of importance in meaningful ways'.

You may like to consider different hypothetical business rules for designing the ERD and establish a rational behind this.
