Wally's World Videos has expanded from one store three years ago to three stores today. Wally's has hired you as an IT business consultant to review its existing method of tracking rentals and sales using a small network that feeds data into the company's accounting system. The system was originally designed for the first store. Now, the company is finding it cumbersome to integrate the information from the three stores and to determine which store is doing the best, what videos are most often out of stock, and which customers have not promptly returned rental videos.

You have also been asked to investigate options, such as developing or subscribing to a Web-hosting service, to offer online rentals and sales. Perform the following activities based on what you have learned this week and by performing additional research:

• Develop an RFP for a Web-hosting service and the consolidation of Wally's computer systems to a single service provider.
• Develop a scoring method for evaluating the proposals submitted.

Complete the assignment in a Microsoft Word document. Cite all sources using the correct APA style.

Note: Assume that you will be requesting proposals from three service providers. You need to develop your RFP and scoring system to evaluate three respondents. Assume that each respondent claims to be qualified to provide the desired services and has the hardware and expertise to provide the required services.

The RFP should contain the elements you have learned about including penalties for nonavailability of the new system. You do not have to actually solicit bids, but you must do a thorough job on the RFP and ranking system.
