Question: Provide additional information (with apa citation on both) for each of the following texts:

Text 1 : "Three of the Deming's 14 point for management are not well practiced in my organization or have the opportunity for improvement in practicing. The first one is the too much relying for inspection. Deming stated that "do not rely on mass inspection to "control" quality" (Deming). Since the company that I am working for are in the airfreight business, we should follow the FAR or the Federal Air Regulation. In the regulation, there is a section which talks about the role of quality inspectors with that then we are bound to follow the regulation. But, I still believe that we can still build quality to our processes which could be free from relying to inspection."

Text 2: "The first point the indirect purchasing organization would have trouble embracing is Eliminating Fear. I truly believe this is an easy fix if leadership willing. Having empowerment in your job is a huge key to me. The indirect purchasing team is responsible for some of the largest, most complex contracts at GM. The buyers who own these contracts need to feel empowered and be goal driven. There has been much church recently because leadership is wanting to get involved in the complex deals and now allowing the buyers preform at their best. They simply take over the contracts and the buyers are afraid to express their ideas and concerns. Deming States, "Allow people to perform at their best by ensuring that they're not afraid to express ideas or concerns." (Mindtools, 2016). Using open and honest communication between purchasing and leadership and having leaderships input/support when needed and when there are learning opportunities will help eliminate the fear. Leadership also needs to recognize when great work is being produced by making them feel valued via recognition, etc."
