There has been significant media attention and hype about the potential of cloud technologies. ERP Systems vendors are offering cloud based versions of ERP Systems. Companies are faced with increasing pressure to investigate the potential of these cloud based offerings. They soon realise that there is a variety of models for cloud based ERP systems, each with their strengths and weaknesses. Management have become aware that you are studying ERP Systems at Victoria University and have given you the task to prepare a research paper on potential cloud offerings, benefits and risks.

Discuss the statement above using case study examples (from literature searches) to demonstrate different company's experiences.
