1. You work for the Town of Ancaster prior to the amalgamation of the New City of Hamilton. Your primary responsibility was to maintain the Town's single line road network file. The amalgamation has taken place and you have been hired to create a new street network file that combines those of the former municipalities of Ancaster, Flamborough, the former City of Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Dundas and Glanbrook.

2. An engineering consultant sent you an AutoCAD drawing file of a property survey. Your boss would like you to overlay the file on an air photo. When you load both files into your GIS software, you see the air photo but you do not see the DWG file.
