For many, it is fascinating to watch the ideas of science fiction become reality with technologies such as screenless displays or 3-D printers.

For others, it might be finding and employing new methods to improve the goods, services,and/or process of their business. Whatever the case may be, the fact remains that emerging technology is a catalyst for change.

For your final Assignment of this module, select a topic that is relevant to innovation and emerging technologies.

Possible topics include:

A specific technology (e.g. wearable devices)

A specific company/vendor that is making, or will make, an impact

A specific issue or problem that is being, or will be, addressed by emerging technologies

A specific implementation/adoption challenge, with a direct linkage to emerging technologies If you choose a different topic, it must still relate to a specific aspect of innovation and emerging technology.

Regardless of your chosen topic, you must provide a detailed analysis of that topic along with an interpretation of any technological implications and applicable recommendations (e.g. for implementation, management, creation, risk mitigation etc.).

To complete this Assignment: Submit a paper in which you analyse a topic of your choice pertaining to a specific aspect of innovation and emerging technology.

In your paper, you must provide an overview and/or problem statement for your topic along with sufficient, associated detail about that topic.

In other words, your reader should know all he or she needs to know about your topic, any technologies involved, any companies or any implications without having to do research on their own.

Furthermore, provide substantiated interpretations of the implications centred on your chosen topic (e.g. risks, challenges, benefits etc.) as well as your recommendations pertaining to the topic (e.g. if you select a topic regarding a specific issue/problem with an emerging technology, recommend ways to mitigate/avoid that issue/problem).

If you have personal or 'real-world' experience that is relevant to your topic, feel free to incorporate it into your project.

For all Assignments: Your document should have 750-1,000 words (not including the list of works cited), but it is the quality of the answer that matters, not the number of words.
