1.  We recently discussed life cycle assessments. Think about a product that you have and use and cannot live without.
A.  List 10 processes that occur as part of the creation, use, and disposal of that product. List an environmental impact for each process.

B.  Short Essay Format. Write a paragraph explaining what can be done to reduce the environmental impacts created by the creation, use, and disposal of that product.

2. For the next class session, find clean samples of recyclable-labeled plastic to share in our discussion session. Local students can bring the plastics to class, distance students need to take pictures of the plastics they find and submit the pictures in a document on Canvas. Note: Pictures taken must be taken by the student, using pictures off of the internet is unacceptable.
