Research a modification of the appendicular skeletal system or joints and share with your classmates. Please address the following:

- What condition is present that would require this procedure?
- What happens after the procedure for the patient and how long is recovery?
- Why would someone elect to have this procedure? How is the quality of life affected for those that have this procedure?
- Are there risks and are they worth it? Would someone consider this procedure? Why or why not?
