Using the project given below and you are required to assess the changes to the works listed and present them in a priced variations account and a short (maximum 1500 words) report. The account is to follow contract administration conventions and the report is to cover the following points:

1. The project parameters -

Project Scope, project Risk, meaning of terms, nature of the contract and role of the parties.

2. The technology involved in each issue.

3. The source of prices for omissions and additions to the work. Current prices, for both omissions and additions, are to be obtained, either from industry or a suitable price book. Each price is to have a source of pricing noted.

4. What the financial effect would be to the Employer if the change is made late

a) So that it delays subsequent work

b) So that any substituted work has already been carried out

5. Prepare an additional detail claim in order to adjust the cost overrun. For example, under the part "d" instead of timber trusses client prefers steel trusses. It causes massive impact on rates whereas the provided BoQ doesn't have such items. In such cases you need to provide a new rate along with a specific rate analysis (breakdown). You shall take any necessary assumptions
