The smooth, concrete-lined, symmetrical channel shown in Video V10.7 and Fig. P10.88 carries water from the silt-laden Colorado River. If the velocity must be 4.0 ft/s to prevent the silt from settling out (and eventually clogging the channel), determine the minimum slope needed.
