A common misconception regarding the autonomic nervous system is an "all or nothing" approach. This view implies that only one branch of the autonomic nervous system can be active at one time, and that all tissues are affected by that branch at once. So, if the sympathetic nervous system were active, all sympathetically innervated tissues would be affected concurrently and no tissue would be affected by parasympathetic nerves. Using results from this experiment and your answers to previous problems, how would you clear up this misconception
