During the meeting, the potential client mentioned that they are thinking toremove all amplifiers (about 40dB gain) in the system in order to save cost and improve systemefficiency. Your boss, who is not the antenna expert, replies, "That's ok! We can just compensatefor this by increasing the antenna gain. We can just increase the antenna gain to 50 dB." As theantenna expert, do you speak up? What do you say? Does a gain of 50 dB make sense with theclient's requirements? Note: Use the relationship between gain and HPBW.
