1. Questions 1 and 2 in the Food and Diet Questionnaire ask about shopping for food and cooking meals. How would your diet change if your answer to these questions changed? (~150 words ).

2. Questions 5aasks about how often your main meal is a takeaway meal. Report how often you eat takeways as your main meal. Then explain which factors would cause you to choose takeaway meals: think about factors to do with the food itself (egtaste), environmental factors (eg price, convenience) or individual factors (eglack of cooking skills). 3. Question 11 asks you about special diets. Choose one of the diets mentioned to rate the importance of many food and eating related behaviours.
a. Give a brief description of the diet you have chosen to write about (which foods are restricted and who the diet is recommended for )
b. Research using at least 1 journal article the benefits of following the diet you have chosen. (~150 words)

4. How well do you think the Food Frequency Questionnaire captured your usual dietary intake over the past month and year? (~150 words)

5a. According to questions 4 and 5, how many serves of vegetables and fruit do you usually eat each day?

5b. Critically evaluate your intake compared with the recommendations for your gender and age group from the Australian Dietary Guidelines . (~150 words)

Questions to answer about the Likes and Dislikes Questionnaire

6a. Give examples of foods that were difficult to score on the questionnaire and explain WHY they were difficult to score?

6b. Decide if overall the questionnaire captured your likes and dislikes well. Why or why not?

7. Some of the foods and beverages listed in the Likes and Dislikes Questionnaire are similar to foods and beverages listed in the Food Frequency Questionnaire. Looking at your responses to both questionnaires, do you think taste influences your food choices? Why or why not?(~150 words, 10 marks)

For the video component of the assignment, please pretend that you are part of a nutrition research team and they have asked you to evaluate three questionnaires: The Food and Diet Questionnaire, the Food Frequency Questionnaire and the Likes and Dislikes Questionnaire from the perspective of a researcher.

For the video:

1. Mention the strengths and limitations of each questionnaire for researching food choices.

2. Finish the video with a brief comment on how well the 3 questionnaires are linked. In other words, were the behaviours reported in the Food and Diet Questionnaire linked to what participants reported in the Food Frequency Questionnaire and the Likes and Dislikes Questionnaire?
