Project Assignment (160 points): The project assignment is a written paper and "oral presentation". This presentation will be a teaching module for a client from the "Special Populations". The topics of choice are of a client with: AIDS; Organ Transplantation; Closed Head Injury/Traumatic Brain Injury; Substance Abuse; Geriatric/Aging; Spinal Cord Injury; Cancer; End Stage Renal Disease; Third Degree Burns; Psychiatric Diagnoses; Stroke; Diabetes. Have the topic approved by the instructor (no duplication by students).

The written project assignment must contain the following information:

-Research of the needs of that client

-Nature of the disability

-Explain the impact on the daily living activities of that client;

-Explain how that client can be functional at work and social activities

-Identify the long term needs of the client

-Impact for case manager

The "oral presentation" is a power point presentation that will be providing the client with the information as identified

-Client and family education
