She told her to avoid placing hands or pressure in the axilliae area. Based on your knowledge of the shoulder joint, explain why this area should be avoided.

Question 3: Physical therapists (PTs) are constantly trying to encourage inactive patients to move their joints, particularly synovial joints. In some cases they will even move the patients joints or use a device to move the joints for them (passive movement). Using your knowledge of joint anatomy & physiology explain why PTs do this.
