2. What is the most straightforward evidence of dinosaur feeding behavior? How much can we deduce about the diet of particular dinosaurs? 

3. Review the webpage earthmagazine.org/article/its-dirty-job-someones-gotta-do-it to see how coprolites are used as evidence of dinosaur diet.

4. If you were a scatologist studying dinosaur coprolites, would you specialize in carnivorous or herbivorous dinosaurs? Why?

1. Return to the Smithsonian website you visited in Part 1 & review the material under "Reproduction".

2. What do we clearly know about dinosaur mating & reproduction?

3. Go to the Wikipedia page about Maiasaura, wikipedia.org/wiki/Maiasaura and review the section labeled "Reproduction". What do you think of the evidence for "cuteness" as a factor in dinosaur parenting behavior?


PART 3. What is the evidence for how dinosaurs moved? 

1. Return again to the Smithsonian website you visited in Parts 1 & 2; review the material under "Locomotion".

2. Is there any evidence for burrowing or tree-climbing dinosaurs?

3. Is there any evidence that T-Rex ran 35 mph?

4. How would you summarize the evidence for dinosaur movement?


PART 4. What is the evidence for dinosaur social behavior?

1. Review the section labeled "Group Behavior" in your textbook (193-6), especially the part about herds. Now launch an internet search of the phrase "Teen Dinosaurs Roamed in Herds" & go to the National Geographic website. 

2. How would you rate the strength of this recent evidence for dinosaur herd behavior on a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being rock solid)?
