Description:

Type of building: A major investment company owns the piece of land described above and is considering building a five-story office building. The building should be optimized to provide maximum rental office space. The first floor shall have a reception and information area at the entrance. Each floor shall be divided into self-contained office suites that are capable of housing a small to medium-size Company. Some flexibility should be built into the design to allow combining two suites to accommodate larger companies. The building shall meet all the applicable code requirements and shall be aesthetically pleasing, functional, green and cost efficient. The owners are on a tight budget and demand and highest quality products for their money.

1- Engineering design drawings for the entire school facility showing

a. Building and field locations

b. Interior details of the buildings.

c. Details of the structural system

d. Details showing foundations

e. Parking lot layout including entrance and exit plans

f. Water management system

2. Structural design calculations and specification

3. Foundation design and specifications

4. Water drainage plan including grading of the site, location, size and number of detention ponds or other systems

5. Sewage management calculations and plans

6. Parking lot deigns including pavement design, size and number of parking spots, number of handicapped parking spots, etc.

7. Entrance and exit to the facility

8. Itemized cost estimates for the entire project

9. Green features built into the design

10. A physical model of the area showing scaled contours and model of the building. A 3-D CAD model of the building will also be accepted.
