In this assignment, you will be writing two purpose statements.
One of them must be approved by your instructor. The approved purpose statement will serve as the topic for the Mini Research Prospectus that you will be completing in the Mini Research Prospectus Part 2.

1) Use the following information to ensure successful completion of the assignment:
a) This assignment uses a grading rubric.
b) Access the program of study document for the

c) After submitted, the instructor may suggest modifications to the purpose statements.
d) When all modifications are completed, the instructor will approve one of the statements for use as the topic for the Mini Research Prospectus to be completed in Mini Research Prospectus Part 2.
e) Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

2) Perform the following tasks to complete the assignment:
a) Identify two major research questions that are related to your previously completed coursework IN PSYCHOLOGY . Course titles and descriptions are available by accessing your Program of Study document.
b) For each research question, write a purpose statement of 100-150 words that clearly describes the purpose and significance of the study, briefly outlines the logic of the research study, and states the specific question under investigation.
