Optics lobes 4 in number (Corpora Quadrizemmini) in frog corpora bizemmini.

Solid, optocoel is absent. 2 superior coculi and 2 inferior coculi are present.

Attached to each other by crura cerebri.

FUNCTION -

Superior coculli are concerned with sense of sight. Inferior coculi are concerned with hearing.

Note :- Brain with large optic lobes is avian brain.
