Industry Project-

Assessment Method: Ability to apply knowledge and skills that you have learnt; correct work methods and best practice using a variety of industry standard software to generate required outcome. Basic principles of CADD, digital rendering and presentation layout techniques observed with creative application to develop an individual style or voice. Peer evaluation and personal review.

Produce professional quality CAD Solution and Client presentation for given industry project using ArchiCAD, Artlantis, Photoshop InDesign and Acrobat Professional:

Task 1.Interpret the Industry project and define parameters
- *Client is defined
- *Interior style is established
* *2-5 examples of each of the following researched and sourced - kitchen layouts, outdoor living spaces, materials, lighting and objects.
* *3-5 interesting of inspirational images sourced for your client presentation
* *2-3 possible background images sourced for hero shots considering intellectual property requirements when sourcing
- *Folder structure created according to assessment outline
- *ALL FILES contain your initials and a logical short name

Task 2.Create the model
- *Work station set up according to WHS
- *ArchiCAD model with file set-up
- *Design solution for kitchen - appropriate surface materials applied
* *ArchiCAD file - camera angles are set-up
* *2-3 sketch renders using above camera angles
* *1-2 InDesign layout solutions using frames and text boxes using chosen font

Task 3.Prepare documentation
- *Documentation: Kitchen floor plan - scale 1:50 - including a scale bar
- *Documentation: Kitchen section - scale 1:50
- *Documentation: Street elevation - scale 1:50 - optional is enhancement

Task 4.Create finished visuals and presentation boards
- *1 x A2 layout for kitchen design solution
- *1 x Hero Render (created 3D documentation and perspective)
- *1 x Vignette - suitable for a kitchen (reviewed overall project visuals)
- *Documentation as per task3
* *Hero shot process documented using program of your choice

Task 5.Presentation and personal and peer evaluation
* *Complete the supplied peer evaluation and personal reflection
* *Individual COMPLETED peer evaluation form submitted
