I have project i am looking for someone help to do it. - I want number 14 the wheels.

Outline

Introduce the "language of manufacturing" by providing an integrated coverage of manufacturing processes and manufacturing systems.

- The objective of this group project is to provide an opportunity to apply the basic manufacturing engineering concepts learned during the course.

- Project topic will be the "Production of an automobile".

- Groups will select a specific component of an automobile and describe the processing steps involved in making that component.

The project report should include these following details:
1. Describe the functionality of the component.
2. Describe the criterion for selection of materials for the specific component
   1. Typical conventional material specifications
      1. Chemical composition
      2. Mechanical properties
   2. Alternative choice of advanced materials
3. Describe conventional manufacturing processes commonly used in automobile manufacturing process.
4. Application of modern manufacturing tools or processes for the component.
   1. Does the component need any specialized manufacturing processes and/or assembly procedures?
   2. Identify the potential areas for improving the energy efficiency and reducing the cost of operations in these manufacturing processes.
   3. What is the impact of these conventionally used manufacturing methods on the environment?
5. Describe preferred plant layout for producing these specific components.
6. Describe manufacturing and materials challenges.
7. List the names , addresses and websites of at least 3-5 companies which manufacture the
specific component.

Proposed List of Components

1. Chassis ( Body on frame style)

2. Drive shafts (constant velocity axles or conventional driveshafts)

3. Connecting rods

4. Gears

5. Engine block

6. Suspension (Various)

7. Bumpers (Literally the structure behind the urethane fascia)

8. Unibody (Modern design)

9. Windshield

10. Rubber tires

11. Body panels (Urethane fascia components or conventional stamped units)

12. Car Batteries and battery parts

13. Charging system components

14. Wheels

15. Interior panels

16. Car seating system

17. Headlights and tail lights

18. Transmission system

19. Use of robots in automobile manufacture (Focus on the use of robots rather than development of robotic technology for automobile applications)

20. Application of modern manufacturing tools in automobile manufacture, such as 3-D printing.
