2. Discuss three types of energy sources used by cells then provide two examples of when / in what cells / situations your chosen energy sources are used. Next describe two forms of transport within the cell and the specific energy source used in each form of transport.

3. Name two similarities and two differences between mitosis and meiosis I and II. Next state three benefits of genetic variation which result from meiosis. Which benefit do you believe is most significant? Justify your response.

4. Explain in 100 to 250 words the science behind why human eyes come in so many colors. Next briefly discuss your understanding of Mendelian and non-Mendelian patterns of inheritance then describe how human eye color can be determined in relation to patterns of inheritance.

5. In your own words explain the concept of rRNA then suggest three reasons why scientists choose to use rRNA as an Evolutionary Chronometer.
