Sugar and the other carbohydrates utilizes as fuel sources by cells. During process of the Aerobic Cellular Respiration, glucose is broken down utilizing the oxygen. This reaction liberates the energy that is utilized to generate the ATP molecules, energy carrier molecule of the cells. The process also liberates the Carbon Dioxide as a by product.
