Explain detail about the Golgi Bodies

Eukaryotic cells possess, within the cytoplasm, a complex organisation of a cluster of membrane-surrounded vesicles called the Golgi bodies, named after the Italian cytologist, Camillio Golgi, who first discovered these. The Golgi bodies appear within the cell as stacks of flattened vesicles. Many of the proteins synthesised by the cell have to reach their individual destinations, such as, membranes, lysosomes and other organelles, or these have to be secreted out, as in the case of hormones.
