2.      RH SYSTEM -

  • Discovered by Leindsteiner & Winner. Race and Taylor worked in it. Rh factor comes from Rhehsus monkey.
  • If Rh factor present Rh positive 97% in India and 80% in world.
  • If Rh factor absent Rh negative 3% in India and 20% in world.
  • If Rh positive blood is given to Rh negative person, first time no agglutination second time death occur.
  • If Rh negative mother is having Rh positive embryo, disease is erythroblastois foetalis (explained by Lavina, Leindsteiner & Winner).
