Battery Inspection : A fully charged and properly maintained battery is essential for proper lighting and starting of the motorcycle.

STEPS

Remove the right side cover and inspect the battery.
Remove the battery and observe that the electrolyte should be between the 'MAX' and 'MIN' mark given on the battery.
If the level is below the 'MIN' mark it should be topped up to the 'MAX' level with distilled water.
Check the specific gravity of the battery fluid. Specific gravity is checked with the help of HYDROMETER in each cell of the battery.
The specific gravity should be between 1.24 - 1.27.
Battery is inspected for voltage by the help of a battery tester or a Multimeter.
If the battery is undercharged it should be charged by a battery charger with a charging current of 0.25 A.
