Assignment

Students will be expected to prepare a term paper that will be submitted on Tuesday, February 20 (7th week of the term). The guidelines are as follows:

- Identify and discuss a human biology issue of local, state , or national interest.
- Be objective. Present both sides of the issue.
- Complete a literature search and include it in a Literature Cited section. Interview recognized authorities on the subject, if possible. Come to a conclusion on the issue and defend that conclusion.

The text of the paper must be between five and seven pages long.

Use a mixture of your own thoughts and those of recognized experts. Whenever using another person's work, either by direct quote or summarizing, be sure to give them the proper credit in your paper.
Use the APA writing style.
