As the global population increases so does the demand for resources.  List five resources you believe are needed for survival and discuss why they are needed for survival.  If these resources become limited it may have an effect on the individual, community or population level.  Discuss 3 consequences (1 at each level-individual-community-population) that may occur with each of these resources if these resources become limited.    Try to link up your consequences directly to the resources you haven chosen. 
Helpful hints are;
Think about what early man living in caves needed for survival.  You can think about this homework from several avenues.  Consider this question in terms of ABSOLUTE survival -- as if you were stranded on a desert island or if a hurricane and flood wiped out your city.  You can also consider things in the ENVIRONMENT that are needed for survival.  Please take some time to really ponder this question and try to think outside the box and come up with some resources that you may not initially think of when first read the question.  PLEASE do not include things like hairspray, deodorant, etc.  These are luxury items not necessary for survival. Also stay away from listing things like love, companionship, etc.
