An automatic automotive spray painting system consists of conveyors, spraying, dust and overspray extraction fans with electrostatic and water walls, finishing with baking ovens. This system is connected to a 415V, 50 Hz three phase and has been three divided into three balanced loads, as follows:

LOAD 1 (DELTA): 150 kVA at a power factor of 0.60 lagging;
LOAD 2 (STAR): 44 kW at a power factor of 0.55 leading;
LOAD 3 (STAR): ZR = ZW = ZB = 3.5 + j 2.75 O;

(i) Draw a diagram of the loads.
Determine: (ii) The apparent power (kVA), active power (kW) and reactive power (kVAr) of each of the three loads.
(iii) The total apparent power kVA, total active power (kW) and the total reactive power (kVAr) of the loads.
(iv) The capacitive kVAr required to correct the overall supply power factor to 0.85 lagging.
(v) The line current drawn from the three phase supply before and after power factor correction.
