Reaction Paper

To write your Reaction Paper, please follow the instructions written below.

1. Go to CNN.com, find an interesting article written in the past 30 days, and read it.

2. Your reaction paper should have two parts: (1) a summary and (2) a reaction/opinion. In the summary, use your own words to give a brief version of the most important ideas from the reading. What are the main ideas the author is trying to express? In the summary, you should paraphrase the main points of the article. In the opinion, give your opinion about the issues mentioned in the reading. Do you think the author proved his/her main point? Why/why not? What could the author have done better? How does this reading relate to other readings you have done? 

3. Your summary should be no fewer than 200 words long, and your reaction should be no fewer than 100 words long. Use proper formatting for a college paper (i.e. double-space, left-justify, 12-pt font, name and other information at the top...). Aim for 1 page of writing in all.

4. Include a References section in your paper where you cite the article using APA style. Also, you should use in-text citation appropriately throughout your paper.
