Your proposal is a document written to me. In it, you describe a problem that you would like to solve.

First of all, review the issues you identified in your "State of the Profession" essay. These issues should include problems encountered by practitioners in your field of study.

Think about the kind of problem one of your issues might pose for a company, agency, or non-profit. Some examples are listed below.

- The difficulty that Organizational Leadership majors have in taking classes while working and maintaining a family.
- Current issues of the profession organizational leadership.

Once you have identified a potential problem, offer some solutions to that problem.

Your proposal should be formatted as a memo to me. Information should be presented in approximately the following order:

1. Explain your profession and describe the problem you have identified.

2. Describe some of the other issues that you identified in the State of the Profession essay and explain why you selected the one you did.

3. Identify an employer who is having the problem. Describe how you plan to solve the problem. You might find it useful to break this section down into steps. Your solution does not have to be particularly sophisticated, given that you are not actual practitioners in your field.

Although you are not required to include outside sources for this paper, you will probably want to include your research for your SOP essay.

Specifics of the paper:
- Three, single-spaced pages.
- Heading with your name, class, my name, and the date-as with your SOP essay.
- 12-point, Times New Roman typeface.
Remember that I am the audience for this report. You will develop the information from this report into your recommendations, formal report, and oral presentation, which will be written for a potential customer or employer.
