Reading Responses

This will be due on a weekly basis and you are required to do 5 (each is worth five points). As there are six weeks in the semester, this means that you can be strategic in deciding which weeks you choose to write a response for. However, it should be noted that if you chocve to do more than the required amount, I will only calculate the ten best responses. Furthermore, because I am allowing you to choose which weeks to do, I will not accept late reading responses.

As for the reading responses, you will be required to write a two page. double-spaced (though you are more than welcome to mite more) paper. In this paper. you are to relate a news article or story to that week's readings. You may use amides from international sources and because I understand that there will not always be an article relevant to that particular week out that specific week, you may dip into the past. This does not mean to use articles from the 1970s; however, six months to one year should be fine.

If you have any question as to whether or not an article is appropriate for this assignment, please send me an entail. I would rather let you know before you did the assignment so as to avoid a low mark on your paper.
