You have the urge to connect to nature and become a hunter who uses a slingshot. You make a slingshot from a 50cm long piece of rope in which you put a m=50 g stone and you swing this rope in a circle over your head in a horizontal circle at a height of 2 m above the ground at a rate of one revolution every 0.2 seconds. When the stone leaves the sling it makes an angle of 25 degrees above the horizontal. Assume you are on level ground.

a) With what velocity does the stone leave the sling?

b) How long is the stone in the air?

c) What is the maximum height H reached by the stone?

d ) what horizontal distance D does the stone travel before hitting the ground?

e) Make a graph of x-position, x-velocity, and x-acceleration ersus time and a graph of y-position, y-velocity, and y-acceleration versus time.
