Please analyze whether the camps were accomplishing their goals well (i.e. in getting work out of the prisoners efficiently even if inhumanely). In a situation like this, there are always forms of resistance. What forms of resistance do you find here, what forms of prison administration complicity do you see? Provide a brief look at the different crimes these prisoners committed. What does that tell you about the Stalin regime and the Soviet system of communism he molded?
