Jane and John are racing to the door, but in a very mathematical way. Jane is going to move one-half foot toward the door on each of her turns. John is going to move half often distance between yh tips of his shoes and the door on each of his turns. They both move in a perfectly straight line toward the door. The distance between the students and the door is 16 feet. On James first turn, she moves one half, just ad promised and in johns first turn, he moves eight feet, just as promised. Who gets to the door first? How many turns does it take each student to reach the door.
