What is Social Class

In the United States we may be less cognizant of the relevance of social class. As a nation, compared to others we experience a class system that has been characterized with mobility, meaning that if you are born into a certain class you have a fair chance of mobility to a higher class group. People all over the world come here for the prospect of mobility. In an effort to not take for granted that this occurs we will examine the circumstances and likely odds of those from diverse class backgrounds.

Economic Status

What is your annual salary? Do you have a savings account? Do you have debt? How much are you worth, given an asset to debt ratio?
