What caused the colonial wars between the major European powers to erupt? Could the different powers have lived together in peace in the New World?

Which English colony would you have liked to have lived in? Why?

Part 1: I think that power had a play in the the colonial wars between the major European powers. Because everyone wants to have the most land and with the most land they would be more powerful.

Part 2: The English colony that I would have liked to have lived in would be the Pennsylvanian colony. Because that is where I was born and raised.
