This journal should be based on 18 articles each one is one page in length. and these articles should be related to topics that you Going to see it in the requirements that I'm going to provide you please read everything carefully. once you finish with the articles you need to do the 3 positions paper also listed on the requirements keep in mind that each article you should provide the link for it at the same page I guess. so the total would be 18 pages for 18 articles plus 3 positions paper which is totally has different instructions than the articles. total of 21 pages for all and I will give you 3 days to finish it.

Journal Requirements
- must be typed

The 18 different articles should be related to one of these issues only. Let's say you want to talk about (what happens after the Olympics leave town) look up articles talking about this issue and wright a page about it. And so on
You should make regular entries on the following:

o you are encouraged to pick a specific city/team/stadium and follow the discussion related to it
o examples of cities with new stadiums either being built or proposed include Louisville, Las Vegas, Atlanta, San Diego, etc.
- the Olympics with a focus on two areas
o what happens after the Olympics leave town
o bids to host the 2024 Olympics
- issues related to Title IX (BOOK)
- issues related to big time college athletics
- potential research questions related to the study of sports and politics
o ex - do new stadiums have a long term impact on attendance
- other stories that are related to sports and politics
o extended gambling at horse tracks (an issue in many states including KY)
o web sites that are related to sports and politics
§ examples would be League of Fans and GamesBids
o sports betting
o race and politics
You should also draft at least three position papers. Position papers should be about a page long and succinctly (define and support) a position on a related topic. They are similar to position papers that are frequently distributed by political candidates. Position paper should do the following:
1- Identify the issue.
2- Disclose alternatives.
3- State the position.
4- Provide support for position.
5- Propose a plan for implementation.
