This is a 10-page essay (not including the title page and reference list page) in which you will reflect upon each of the chapter themes in Why Evolution Is True. It should include reflections on your development and understanding of what evolution is and is not. It should include your personal journey of discovery related to the concept of evolution.

It should also include philosophical, theological, and sociological reflections as well as a demonstration of a scientific understanding of evolution. Additionally, you should critique and evaluate the ideas presented in the book using your scientific understanding of the process of evolution. A rough draft will be due during Module 6 and a final draft will be due during Module 7.

This is a scientific paper not totally a personal opinion paper. For each chapter you are to introduce the chapter (define/discuss/summarize the topic), discuss your personal journey of discovery as it relates to the chapter topic. You can use other references to support your interpretation and understanding of the topic being presented in the chapter. You can also point out contradictions in what the chapter presents and what you believe (supported by research) or what another author points out on the subject. For each chapter think about what is important or stands out to you and express this in your write-up.

This is a scientific paper, not totally a personal opinion paper. Your opinion should be based on your personal journey of discovery related to the concept of evolution. If you quote the bible, provide the scripture; if you disagree with something, give me a scientific reason why.

Your paper is to be 10 pages; double spaced; Arial or Time New Roman Font; 11; and APA style required for all references. Please do not triple-space you paragraphs just to make your paper appear longer. You may use other resources to support your views of theories/topics presented in the textbook. Points will be deducted if your paper is less than 10 pages. Be sure to show your transition from one chapter to the next by actually stating "in Chapter.
