You are required to prepare a structured report on the investigation of two distinctive job roles in the IT sector available to you within 5 years of graduation.
For each role you are required to:
- State a typical job role
- Describe the essential features and activities involved within each role
- Include personal and technical requirements.
- Provide a typical person specification for each role; ideally sources from real-world jobs.
- Review the professional, legal and ethical considerations and cover a range of issues that are significant to your chosen job roles.
- Evaluate the two jobs and discuss the extent you feel you meet the technical and personal requirements of each role and decide on which one you would choose.
Your report should be appropriately structured and referenced and must contain an appendix detailing how you have enhanced, or addressed the gaps in the employability skills audit you undertook in the first year of your course.
