You are to write a reflection piece on your experience of approaching an adviser and presenting your case study to him/her. A reflection piece is a written report of what you did, how you went about it, how successful you were, what went well, what didn't go well, what you would do differently next time. The purpose of the reflection piece is to get you to think about what you have done and what you have learned and how you could improve.

The word limit for your reflection paper is 1,200 words.

What I am after is a critical analysis of your learning from the assignment. It is useful to begin by documenting the process you undertook and then to analyse how successful or otherwise it was, eg what did you do, what worked, what didn't and WHY. What would you do differently next time? How could you improve. In addition to the process, I also want you to reflect on what you have learned (if anything) from doing the assignment. For example, did it help you understand the benefits of early planning, did the adviser recommend any changes to your strategy, did you identify gaps in your knowledge that you can now fill in, etc. I will be looking for thoughtful responses that show that you have thought about what you have done. I will not be marking you on how well you went at the interview but on your reflection on your performance and learning. A positive reflection is one which assesses your own performance, for example if you felt things didn't go well, how would you improve them in the future?
