1) There are three springs each suspend from the ceiling with a still block attached to lower end. The blocks (with m1> m2 > m3) stretch springs by equal distances. Every block-spring system is then set into vertical SHM. Rank the masses according to period of oscillation, in decreasing order.
2) A pendulum suspended from ceiling of elevator cab has period T when the cab is still. Is the period same or the larger smaller, when the cab moves:
a ) Upward with constant upward acceleration
b) Downward with constant downward acceleration a=g
c) Downward with constant upward acceleration
d) Downward with constant speed
