The Putting Lot: Building a miniature golf course to support sustainability

Students are expected to do external research (look up information on the company from company's website and other reliable sources)

The prepare up should include the following:

- A background of the company and its socially responsible initiatives

- Answer case problem 1: How did the creators of the putting lot incorporate sustainability into their business concept?

(Tips: You want to describe the inititatives they incorporated in terms of the different levels of social responsibility, i.e. economic, legal, ethical, philanthropic)

- Answer case problem 2: How do you think the creators of putting lot used marketing concept to emphasize the advantages of a miniature golf course based on sustainability?

(Tips: You should define marketing concept and describe how it applies in the context of the Putting Lot. Students are expected to identify different socially responsible initiatives taken by the Puting lot and describe whether these initiatives represent practice of marketing concept and how. Students are also expected to provide evaluation of socially responsible initiatives taken by the company)

Answer case problem 3: Based on the successful creation of the putting lot, can you think of other similar products that could be developed around the concept of sustainability?

(Tips: Students should suggest any other socially responsible initiatives the putting Lot could take. In addition, students should also think about other possible initiatives that could be taken by organizations other than the putting lot. )
